New courses for 2012

LAWS8018 National Security Law offers a broad brush across a number of issues concerning national security law, from historical background to current practical and thematic issues.


LAWS8019 Special Topics in International Security Law Maritime Security: examines the impact of recent developments in maritime security, one of the longest standing areas of international law dealing with international security issues.


LAWS8028 Special Topics in Law Governance and Development: Energy, Governance, Policy and Regulation in the Asia-Pacific introduces students to the challenges of designing energy policy, law, and regulation to meet the very different needs and objectives of countries within the Asia Pacific.


LAWS8032 International Financial Institutions and Development aims to help students understand the challenges faced by international financial institutions and their role in international development.

LAWS8034 - Law and Regulation aims to help students understand the relationship between law and regulation, and the nature of regulation and enforcement.
