Master of Diplomacy & International Law
If you are interested in transnational diplomacy and can achieve a distinction average during your Master of International Law or Master of Laws specialising in International Law, you might like to consider a combined degree option offered by the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy.
The Master of Diplomacy combined degrees are ideal for those who wish to obtain a solid understanding of transnational diplomacy and its contemporary challenges, whether this be within a civil service department, multilateral body, international corporation or non-government organisation. These combined degrees are open to lawyers and non-lawyers.
For law graduates
Master of Diplomacy/Master of Laws specialising in International Law (MDipl/LLM)

Entry Requirements
Applicants must hold an Australian Bachelor of Laws degree, Juris Doctor or equivalent. A strong pass degree or better is required for admission. Students must then complete the coursework requirements of the Masters of Laws specialising in International Law before they can proceed into the Master of Diplomacy.
Status credit
The Master of Laws specialising in International Law will provide 12 units of status (credit) towards the 48 unit Master of Diplomacy.
For non-law graduates

Applicants must hold at least a three-year Australian Bachelors degree or equivalent. A strong pass degree or better is required for admission. Students must then complete the coursework requirements of the Masters of International Law before they can proceed into the Master of Diplomacy.
Status credit
The Master of International Law will provide 12 units of status (credit) towards the 48 unit Master of Diplomacy.
The Master of Diplomacy degree requires the completion of 48 units including four compulsory courses:
DIPL8001 - Transnational Diplomacy
DIPL8002 - Contemporary Challenges in Diplomacy: Politics, Economics, Law, and Strategy
DIPL8003 - Case Studies in Diplomacy
DIPL8004 - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
