Master of Laws
The Masters of Laws (LLM) program at the ANU College of Law is the longest standing of the graduate programs offered by the College. Consistent with the ongoing development of graduate law teaching over the decades, the LLM program offers students the opportunity to select from a wide range of law courses at introductory, advanced and specialist levels.
A particular feature of the LLM, and all the specialised programs is the intensive delivery of the courses over a period of 3 or 4 days. Some courses in the program are also offered online.
Masters for non-law graduates
Non-law graduates can choose from a series of programs including the Master of Legal Studies as well as specialised Masters, Graduate Diplomas and Certificates.
Specialised Master of Laws
If you wish to focus on a particular area of law we offer the Master of Laws with specialisations in Environmental Law, Government & Commercial Law, International Law, International Security Law, Law Governance & Development, and Legal Practice.
Commencement & sessions
We offer two main intakes per year: February and July, but applications may be accepted outside the main intake periods.
