Summer/Winter in Geneva: Information Evening

Find out more about this exciting summer program held in Geneva during January and February each year.  You could witness the workings of important international institutions in the heart of Europe during a three week intensive international organisations course.  Applications for the 2014 program will open at the event.

Student internship rewarded

Alice Nagel, an Arts/Law student, has had an article published in the Australian Journal of Corporate Law, titled "Balancing entrepreneurial freedom and creditor protection in company and insolvency law: German and  European Union perspectives" (2013) 27 AJCL 293 (PDF, 179KB).  The paper is the product of Alice's internship studies at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, under the supervision of Dr Felix Steffek at the Institute, and Fergus Thomson at the ANU College of Law.

Law students benefit from YWCA Great Ydeas

Three ANU law students, Claire Natoli, Alisa Draskovic and Elaine Li have been awarded, through the Great Ydeas Small Grants Program, the opportunity to attend the Australian Youth Justice Conference in May. Through attending the conference, they will further their knowledge and also build networks within the area. The YWCA of Canberra provide financial assistance to women in Canberra and the surrounding regions to help them develop their skills and enable a greater contribution to the community.
