Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice
ANU Legal Workshop offers a specialised university-based professional legal education, the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP).
Our GDLP is designed according to the Australasian Professional Legal Education Council (APLEC) and Law Admissions Consultative Committee (LACC) Competency Standards for Entry Level Lawyers.
Completion of the GDLP allows for direct admission to practice in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and reciprocal admission in South Australia and Tasmania.
If you have an overseas law degree, you should contact the relevant admission authority in the state where you plan on being admitted in relation to necessary bridging courses. More information relating to overseas qualifications for admission to practice in Australia can be found here.
Flexible online learning
The GDLP provides the high standard of academic and professional education expected at Australia's premier university. The GDLP is a flexible program which is ideal for students who are working or who have home or personal commitments. After completing the Becoming a Practitioner intensive, students can undertake the program from anywhere in Australia or overseas.

Credit towards a Masters
